The Great Flood---then, What?

What happened after the Great Flood in Genesis 6-9? After God destroyed the wicked and sinful generation, He told Noah something very important. Let's read in Genesis 8:17 and 9:1 "that they may abound on the earth, and be fruitful and multiply on the earth." And V.1 "So God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them: Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth." And one more in Genesis 1:28, "Then God blessed them, and God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it;"
Notice three times in early Biblical history God said to be fruitful and multiply! Think now with this writer, are we doing that today? Be fruitful means to enjoy living here on earth, planting seed for harvest and beautifying the earth with flowers and trees! Yes there's a lot more but let's explain multiply: we as people are to multiply through child-bearing marriages! This writer understands some are not able to have children. In the Bible Hannah could not have children, but she prayed to God and had Samuel! Such a basic teaching: enjoy living on earth, including taking care of the animals, and marry a woman you love dearly, and have children! Many are not enjoying living anymore. Many do not know where they came from or why they are here? All people were put on earth to enjoy living here and biblically multiply loving families!!! How great and awesome is our God! He always meant things for good! Jim Kultau, Writer
